Module Three

Textbook Reading: Explain the three measures of central tendency, and how teachers can help children t better understand each of these measures. 1. Mode: The mode of data is basically whatever answer has the most answers. Ways to teachers to help children better understand this is I always remember that mode was like word most like "most" so if you tell students in order to find the mode you look at what answer comes up the most. It also makes it easy to figure out when you take your data and put it into a frequency chart to see how many times each answer was given.  2. Median: The median is the number in the middle when the numbers are put in order from least to most or most to least. I remember my teachers always telling me to find the median we first have to put the data in order from least to greatest, writing all numbers (even if they showed up more then once). Module 2

Categorical Data Sort and Analysis Thoughts before sorting: Before beginning my sort I struggled with trying to figure out what type of heading I could use that would be the best fit for a good chunk of the names. Kennedy Bill Gates Drake Malala Yousafzai King Leonidas Antoni Gaudi Barack Obama Mark Zuckerberg Haregewoin Teferra Michelle Obama Based on the data collected I see that our class is filled with many types of people. I know I, myself had a really hard time choosing just one person who I...

EDN 325 Introduction

Hey Everyone, I have decided to continue using the blog that I started last semester as I found it quite easy to use.  I am orginally from a very small town in Ohio about an hour east of Cleveland. I moved to the Carolina's in 2015 to attend UNCW and be closer to my older sister and her family. I now live in Sneads Ferry with my mom and boyfriend.  I have an older sister, who has 2 boys and 1 girl, who I spend a lot of my time with. I also have a younger sister and a younger brother who live in Ohio with my dad and Stepmom. I dont have much free time as I work as an office assistant and nanny for a family who owns a masonry company. But in my free time I like to relax and watch netflix, workout (mostly crossfit style workouts) shop and I would love to be able to go explore more of the world. Being from around Cleveland I am a huge Indians and Cavaliers fan, I try to be a Browns fan but that's hard. haha  My sister, My mom, Me and My niece Allie on Thanksg...
