Future Classroom

PART 1: Classroom Layout The classroom that I made would be a 1st-grade classroom. I have placed tables and groups of 4 students at each table. I have a semi-circle roundtable for teacher time group work. I have my desk on the opposite side of the room. My classroom has a rug for the morning meeting and group lessons. It has many different options for the students to use during reading such as the bean bag chairs and the corner meeting area. It has a bathroom in the classroom and has multiple places for storage of the children belonging (jacket, bookbag, etc. and another cubie for there works to go into once complete. My classroom will have a smart board and whiteboard in the room. No computers, the students will have laptops to use if they need to. : PART 2: Rules and Procedures Rules for Miss. Reflect on the DIBELS activity. Which two areas did you choose to practice scoring? How did you do? Was it easy/difficult? Upload pictures of your score sheets. •I think that all of the DIBELS activities were very informative. I think some were harder than others. The two I choose to do were the Oral Reading Fluency and the Retell. I picked these two because they went hand and hand with each other. I never really thought about how students could describe so much about a story by only reading 60 words but when hearing the student do his retell and listen to him only know one thing about the story all I could think of was about all the other details he got and could have talked about in that short period of reading.
